Wat Phra Ram

Wat Phra Ram is a temple located outside the Royal Palace to the east, in Pratu Chai Subdistrict, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya District (Old Capital), Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province, opposite the Wihan Phra Mongkhon Bophit. Wat Phra Ram is believed to have been built in 1369 during the reign of King Ramesuan, on the site where the cremation of King Ramathibodi I (King U-Thong) took place.
