Wat Chom Sawan, Phrae Province

Wat Chom Sawan is a Tai Yai temple built in Burmese art style, following the unique Bagan design, and is the only one of its kind in Phrae Province. This beautiful and ancient temple is over 100 years old, constructed during the prosperous teak trade era, using teak wood. It also serves as the cultural center for the Tai Yai community in the city of Phrae. The temple is distinguished by its tiered roof, which gives it a unique and stunning appearance. Inside, the art combines Tai Yai, Burmese, and Lanna styles harmoniously. Visitors can explore the temple freely without any restrictions.
