During my visit to VinWonders Theme Park in Phu Quoc, I had the chance to explore the Phu Quoc Aquarium, also known as the Sea Shell Aquarium. It’s not just any aquarium; it’s one of the top 5 largest in the world, and its design is inspired by a giant turtle. The exterior is impressive, setting the stage for what’s inside.
The aquarium is divided into five unique zones, each offering a different experience. First, I wandered through the Midnight Drifters zone, where the lighting was dim, creating a mysterious and serene atmosphere. The jellyfish here were mesmerizing, floating gracefully as if they were drifting in space.
Next, I ventured into The Aquatic Treasure zone. This area was a vibrant display of colorful coral reefs and exotic fish. The sheer variety of marine life was fascinating, and it felt like I was diving deep into an underwater paradise.
Then, I entered The Frozen Palace, which is aptly named. This zone featured cold-water species and icy landscapes. The chill in the air added to the immersive experience, making me feel like I was exploring the Arctic seas.
One of the most thrilling zones was Sharklantis. Here, I got up close with different species of sharks. The tunnel with sharks swimming overhead was both exciting and a bit nerve-wracking, but in the best way possible.
Finally, I explored the Realm of Giants. This zone was home to some of the largest marine creatures I’ve ever seen. It was awe-inspiring to stand next to these giants and appreciate their size and beauty.
Overall, the Phu Quoc Aquarium was a highlight of my visit to VinWonders. It’s a must-see attraction that offers a deep dive into the wonders of the ocean, all within the impressive setting of a giant sea turtle.
