Regent Phu Quoc
🌍 Location: The hotel is situated on the white sandy beach of Phu Quoc Island's west coast in Vietnam, just about a 17-minute drive from Phu Quoc International Airport, making transportation very convenient. There are plenty of nearby attractions, such as the Hon Thom Nature Park cable car not far away, where you can enjoy a breathtaking aerial view of the entire island, especially during sunset. There's also a lively night market where you can sample various Vietnamese street food and fresh seafood 🦀.
🏠 Stay Experience: The check-in process itself was a delightful surprise! The staff escorted me to a sunken sofa area where I could enjoy the sea breeze and ocean view while being served with chilled towels, tea, and snacks—the whole process was relaxed and enjoyable. I stayed in a Sky Pool Villa this time, and the moment I entered, the spacious living area and the huge terrace caught my eye. The 9m*3m private pool on the terrace was absolutely amazing, like having my own little paradise. Lighting scented candles by the pool at night created the perfect ambiance for chatting with family and friends—pure bliss. The bedroom, though not large, was cozy and warm with its soft lighting and beige furniture, and there was even a thoughtful blanket at the foot of the bed. The bathroom's celadon green color scheme was stunning, featuring full-size bottles of Perricone MD products, along with bathrobes and umbrellas ☂ adorned with the hotel's totem design.
🏊♀️ Wellness Facilities: The hotel's gym is open 24/7, equipped with top-notch Technogym machines, and the best part is you can work out while enjoying the ocean view. After exercising, a dip in the nearby infinity pool instantly washes away any fatigue. I also joined the hotel's yoga classes—doing yoga by the beach at sunrise, feeling the sunlight and sea breeze, left me feeling invigorated. For water sports enthusiasts, the hotel offers a full range of equipment for beach volleyball, tennis, archery, and paddleboarding, ensuring endless fun.
🍽 Dining Experience: The hotel boasts six restaurants catering to diverse tastes. Rice Market is an all-day dining venue serving Southeast Asian fusion cuisine, including a lavish breakfast spread with live cooking stations. Oku specializes in Japanese and French cuisine, impressing with its exquisite presentation and fresh ingredients. Ocean Club offers seafood and light meals—dining by the sea at sunset is an absolute treat. The hotel's bars are also fantastic, especially FuBar at the Sky Pool Terrace, known for its gin-based cocktails. Sipping a drink while taking in the night view is pure bliss 🍹.
🎈 Little Touches: Everywhere in the hotel, the staff greets you warmly, making you feel right at home. Once, while I was lounging on a beach chair, a staff member promptly brought me a towel and ice water, even asking if I needed anything else. The mini-bar and snacks in the room are all complimentary and replenished daily—such thoughtful touches!
💡 Other Tips:
The hotel frequently hosts activities like massage workshops, handicraft classes, Vietnamese cooking, and cocktail-making sessions. Check with the front desk to sign up in advance.
For the best sunset views, remember to secure a good spot on the beach early.
There are plenty of fun places around the hotel—you can rent a motorbike or take a taxi to explore, but be mindful of traffic safety.
My stay at Regent Phu Quoc was absolutely amazing, and I highly recommend it! If you're planning a trip to Phu Quoc, don’t miss out on this hotel 💕.
