Small temple by the sea in Phu Quoc

#vietnamtrip
Dinh Cậu Temple (Dinh Cau Temple) is a revered coastal shrine, symbolically perched atop a striking rocky outcrop overlooking the sea. Located about 200 meters west of the center of Duong Dong Ward, it is dedicated to Thần Nữ (Goddess of the Sea) and the Holy Boys (Cậu Tài, Cậu Quý), deities traditionally worshipped by fishermen for protection. Visitors come for devotion amidst the calming sea breeze, and it is a particularly important pilgrimage site for locals, especially fishermen before voyages, during Lunar New Year (Tết) and major festivals.
Thanks to its dramatic seaside position facing west, Dinh Cậu is also famous as one of Phu Quoc's very best locations to watch the sunset.
