Amazing Mai Khao beach in Phuket

Mai Khao Beach is located in the south of Phuket Island, and from the very early morning a lot of people gather here to watch the planes land at the local airport. It's just an incredible sight, especially if a really big plane, such as a Boeing 777, comes in to land.

Tips for visiting: study the airport schedule and come early in the morning, then you can look at the planes alone while everyone is still sleeping. Planes land quite often, but there are breaks of half an hour.
