Located 7 km from Patong Beach, between Karon and Rawai, Kata Beach is a beautiful bay of white sand and a clear sea, with palm trees that offer shade. I really love Kata Beach. Absolutely one of the best beaches in Phuket. The beach itself is absolutely lovely, one of the better main stream beaches with gental sloping sand & clear waters. Great for swimming and you can actually swim the full length of the bay. It’s busy in places, but it’s really long and you can definitely find a quiet spot. They also rented kayaks and body boards. Lots of small Thai stalls where you can order delicious fruit smoothies and Thai snacks. Laying on the beach watching the amazing view was definitely a moment I will never forget. It's a good beach to chill! It is a place that I would visit again, without a doubt an incredible experience.
