Rosewood Phuket

#tripbestfreeaccommodation
A top-notch ultra-luxury hotel that many people love. A bit of a change from Bangkok.
The hotel is about 40 km from the airport.
It's located on Tri Trang Beach, just a short distance from Patong Beach.

This time, I booked a Garden Pool Pavilion room, the entry-level room type.
I arrived on a Saturday or Sunday, so I didn't get an upgrade. Normally, I get an upgrade when I arrive on a day when there are available rooms.

It was according to the promotion I bought, but luckily, I got a late check-out at 4:00 PM.

Every room at Rosewood Phuket has a private pool, ranging in size from small to large, depending on the room type. There are 71 rooms in total, spread across over 100 rai. I got a entry-level room with a garden view, but I did get a small view of the sea, but it wasn't very clear.
The pool in my room isn't for swimming, so it's more suitable for soaking in the water. It's quite small.

The bed was incredibly soul-sucking. I didn't want to get out. It was incredibly comfortable. The hotel uses luxury bedding from the world-renowned Frette brand.

There were some downsides to this room. I think the bathtub is in the outdoor area, so you can only really soak in it at night. Or just in the morning, because the sun is so hot in the late morning. But if it rains on a rainy night, you won't be able to soak, and there are some insects that come and go, just like nature.
Another thing: the bathroom doesn't have a bidet, in case some people are concerned.

The complimentary tea was a Canele, which I've had for the first time, and the mango cake was delicious.

The afternoon tea was excellent, a great value, comparable to the famous hotels in
Bangkok.
(If you're staying on a weekday, you must inform the hotel to prepare it the day before your stay.)

When it was time to turn down, the hotel placed a bouquet of roses on the bed and made bubble baths with roses sprinkled in them. I'm not sure if all rooms have this, because the same thing happened the previous time I stayed. It was lovely.

The breakfast is a must-try. Every dish was excellent. There might not be a lot of choices, but it emphasizes quality and premium ingredients.

Dim sum, khanom jeen, bak kut teh, and grilled pork were all there.

For the other rooms, try looking at the pictures, which should give you a clearer picture. I've posted the photos in the timeline described above.

Let's look at the main reasons. Here's what I like about this hotel:

1. The price isn't too high, in the ultra-luxury category.

2. The rooms are new and decorated in a contemporary style, having only been built a few years ago. The furnishings and decor are premium and worth the price.
(If you're not into traditional Thai-style rooms, this is the place for you.)

3. The communal pool is beautiful, and every angle is beautiful.

4. The beachfront offers a full range of activities. If you come at the right time, the sea is beautiful from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM because of high tide. If you want to enjoy water sports, this is the time to go. After noon, the tide recedes.
(I asked the beach staff about this.)

5. The service from the staff is top-notch. Everyone is lovely. You don't have to ask for anything. Besides the Park Hyatt, I also like the Rosewood, which is equally good.

6. The staff who delivers food to your room always tell you that you can order food from outside. If you don't have enough plates and spoons, just let them know. There's no charge.
(It's rare for a hotel to say this from the moment you arrive, so you don't have to feel disappointed later like some hotels.)

I actually patronize the restaurant in the hotel. The hotel is fine. Sometimes I just want to eat at an outside restaurant but don't want to travel.

7. The cleanliness is top-notch. There's no leaf litter in the private pool. My room is surrounded by trees, and the staff always inform me if there are leaves or the pool isn't clean. This is different from some places that don't care about the cleanliness of even the public pool.
