Piggy Island, Exuma Islands, Bahamas

Pig Beach in the Bahamas, officially known as "Big Major Cay", is an uninhabited island located in the Exuma Islands in the Bahamas. The most famous feature of this island is the group of swimming pigs. They are the only "residents" on the island and are very friendly, making it a popular tourist attraction in recent years.

It is said that a group of pirates originally planned to raise pigs here as food reserves, but they never came back, so the piglets continued to reproduce on their own.
The piglets move freely on the island. They are accustomed to interacting with people and will actively swim to approaching boats. They are very interesting and cute.

Location: About 15 minutes by boat from Great Exuma.
Transportation: You can also take a small plane or charter a boat from Nassau, the capital of the Bahamas, or Florida.

Note: Please interact with the piglets in a safe and animal-friendly way. It is not recommended to feed human food. The travel company will provide suitable feed.
