Autumn at Kongtong Mountain

Standing at the top of Kongtong Mountain, the golden leaves seem to drape the earth in a gentle cloak. The mountain breeze blows, and the red leaves dance gracefully, showcasing the charm of autumn. This time I fulfilled my dream of visiting and have compiled a guide.

Itinerary:
· Arrive at the South Gate of the scenic area at 8:00 AM.
· Take the scenic area shuttle bus for about 15 minutes to the cable car station.
· Ride the cable car up the mountain, enjoying the valley scenery dyed in autumn colors along the way.
· Walk about 20 minutes to the main peak viewing platform to fully enjoy the autumn scenery.

· About 40 minutes by car from the city center; parking is available at the scenic area entrance.

Accommodation:
· It is recommended to stay at a guesthouse at the foot of the mountain for a more authentic local experience.

· Peak season ticket: 90 RMB
· One-way cable car: 60 RMB

Tips:
· Start early to avoid crowds and take unobstructed photos
· Avoid wearing light-colored shoes as mountain paths can be muddy and dirty
· Wear bright-colored clothes to complement the red leaves
· The mountain wind is strong, remember to bring a jacket
· Signal is weak on the mountain, download offline maps in advance
· Bring chocolate and water to replenish energy
· Around 10 AM is the best lighting for photography
· When encountering a sea of clouds, head straight to the viewing platform
· Try the local farmhouse snacks at the foot of the mountain
· Please take your trash down the mountain to protect the environment
