Two Days to Explore Yinchuan! This Itinerary Is Amazing

Finally organized the 2-day trip to Yinchuan during the festival! Starting from Beijing, first went to Lanzhou (averaging 30,000 steps per day as mentioned before), then headed to Yinchuan. This easy itinerary is a must-save~

📍Day 1
【Ningxia Museum】
🕒9:00-17:00 (Closed on Mondays)
💰Free
The museum’s treasure: the Gilded Bronze Ox! Not as famous as the Galloping Horse Treading on a Flying Swallow, but definitely worth seeing!

【Zhenbeibu Western Film Studio】
🕒8:00-18:00
📍 East side of National Highway 110, Zhenbeibu, Xixia District, Yinchuan
🎫80 RMB
Highly recommend bringing ancient-style costumes for photos! The film studio at sunset is stunning, and you might run into many "Zixia Fairy" lookalikes~The scenes from "A Chinese Odyssey" are recreated with great accuracy!

On the way back, remember to take the 1 RMB bus to the city center. There will be a long line, but be sure to grab a seat~

【Huaiyuan Night Market】
📍 Intersection of Huaiyuan Road and Wencui North Street, Xixia District, Yinchuan
Yinchuan locals are really warm and friendly! The crowded night market has a great atmosphere🤣
Must-try:
🍢 Yinchuan-style lamb skewers
🌶️ Spicy Hu Hu
🍖 Big Youbian (crispy fried dough)
🍦 Thai-style fried yogurt (be careful, it’s brain-freezingly cold!)

📍Day 2
The first stop was changed due to rain to check out the super popular Ziqiang Alley Yinchuan logo wall! Queuing up for photos is totally worth it📸

Met a professional photographer who charges 15 RMB for retouching and posing guidance—totally worth it!

🍲 For lunch, had amazing ice-boiled lamb, so tender and delicious~

【Lanshan Park】
🕒 Open all day
📍 Intersection of Qinshui North Street and Shenyang Road, Jinfeng District
The Roman-style architecture is breathtaking! Although there are many stairs to climb, it’s worth it! You might also catch a beautiful sunset🌇

Other attractions skipped:
❌ Shahu Lake / Huangsha Ancient Ferry (already been to Mingsha Mountain)
❌ Helan Mountain Rock Paintings (photos are enough)
❌ Highway 66 (inconvenient without a car)
