🌊🪨 Breathtaking Coastal Views at Maobitou Park (貓鼻頭公園) 🌅✨

#hellohalloween

Situated on the southern edge of Taiwan in the Hengchun Peninsula within Kenting National Park, Maobitou Park offers one of the most dramatic coastal landscapes in the country. With sharp coral-reef cliffs, clear boundary waters between the Taiwan Strait and the Bashi Channel, and legendary rock formations, the scenery is unforgettable.

The park’s main highlight is the iconic “Cat’s Nose” rock — a protruding limestone formation shaped by wind and waves that looks like a crouching cat gazing out to sea. Families and photography fans alike love this quirky landmark and the sweeping ocean views from the observation platforms.

Accessible by scooter or car from Kenting-town, the park requires a small parking fee though entry itself is free. A light jacket is recommended as the coastal wind often picks up. Whether you’re here for sunrise reflections, a peaceful afternoon walk, or simply the open sea vista, Maobitou Park is a must-see stop in Taiwan’s far south.
