When you travel to Pingxi, you must not miss the Shifen Waterfall, which is the largest curtain waterfall in Taiwan. It is known as the Niagara Falls of Taiwan because of its shape similar to Niagara Falls.

Shifen Waterfall is about 40 meters wide and has a height difference of about 20 meters. It is like a stream of water gathered in an arc-shaped mouth. The strong water force pours down and falls into a wide and deep pool. There are viewing platforms along the heights of the waterfall, where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the waterfall from all angles.
