Pokhara is city located in the centre of Nepal on Phewa lake. It is the 1st pitstop if you want to hike The Annapurna Range Mountains. The best way to absorbed and appreciate Pokhara's beauty is via paragliding. You can reach pokhara via bus or flight from Kathmandu. I suggest taking the bus as you get to see more of Nepal. The cost of the bus ride definitely is much cheaper but the commute is slow. You can make new friends along the way and stop at local coffee house and restaurant. Definitely should eat local food and local flavours. Eat dhal bhaat A MUST !
