Visiting Tanjung Tuan (aka Cape Rachado) is a delightful, low-cost getaway—the entrance fee is just RM 1 per adult and free for kids . Nestled in Malacca but accessed from Port Dickson, this forest reserve blends coastal beauty, historical charm, and nature trails packed into one gem.

My visit began with a 20–30-minute hike up to Bukit Batu Putih, a popular outlook near the old Cape Rachado Lighthouse. The trail is moderately steep in parts but manageable with basic fitness, and well-paved—perfect for a short, invigorating morning climb .
