Morne Blanc Trail: Did it around noon in light drizzle. The trail is short but tough after ~200m (rocky uphill). At the top I only saw clouds, but on clear days the view is amazing.

Transport: Took the bus via Victoria (SCR 10 each way). On return, no bus for an hour, so hitchhiked and paid SCR 100 back to Beau Vallon. Buses are cheap but infrequent, so plan extra time.

Guide or No Guide? Honestly, no need for a guide. Trails are well-marked, entrance fees are now on a single online platform. Today I saw guides just walking ahead silently, not engaging with clients, not even clicking photos. Unless you want a naturalist to explain plants/animals, self-hiking is better.

✅ Tip: Carry water, good shoes is a must , and patience with buses.
