Traveled to Port Louis via bus from Our hotel in Poste Lafayette via Flic. Is was a long journey but was fun.
The locals are friendly & proud of where they live & happy to share their knowledge with you.

The Waterfront is a short distance from the bus station in the town & very easy to find.
Nice & modern, coffee shops, So good to have a decent coffee & tea. There’s restaurants of all kinds. All at good prices. Plenty of shops. There are two small museums there. Really nice & enjoyable day out.
We got a taxi back to our hotel as the bus had stopped running 2800 rupees we paid but we were at the opposite side of the island & when you take into account how cheap the buses are we didn’t mind. Definitely worth a visit.
Lovley place, nice & relaxed & good prices.
