Porto: A Portuguese hidden gem 💕

📅 Itinerary
Day1:
Have brunch at My Coffe Porto. Very limited seating but stunning view of the city and Ponte Luis I and the food very affordable. The brunch set was €10.50 and was a delicious way to start the day. After explore Ribeira, full of nice aesthetic streets. Then walk towards the very popular Saõ Bento Station. On the way you can see the city again from a vote at the Miradouro da Rua das Aldas and see the Porto Catherdral. Arrived at the station you will be stunned by the beautiful Portuguese bright blue tiles.
Then head to Santa Caterina, the Main Street where at the end you will find the stunning Chapels of Souls.
After that for €4.50 at Acardià you can have a glass of Calem port wine and chocolate, nice way to reward yourself after all the walking.

Day2:

It was Sunday, meaning entrance to Casa dos Infantes was free. Lovely museum to learn about Portugal colonial past and history of Porto. After that you can walk along and take in the stunning views. I suggest you try the local Francesinha at any of the restaurants. Then enjoy a Fado show with a glass of Port wine at the Ideal club the Fado. Cosy intimate experience. Finally finish the day exploring the Jardin the Palácio Cristal, lovely gardens with peacocks and ducks freely roaming around.

Day3:

Relax at the Leça de palmeira beach, and use the Piscinas the Mares. After enjoying the morning at the beach and having a breakfast of a delicious açai bowl at Bar Oscar you can head to the Rebello hotel for a massage but also use their stunning Roman inspired spa.

📌 Tips
In the city centre because of the traffic and narrow roads you are better off walking than taking taxis.
