Lolei Temple – A Peaceful Stop in Siem Reap

Lolei Temple is a quiet, ancient site just 15 minutes from Siem Reap. Part of the Roluos Group, it was built in the 9th century and once sat on an island in a sacred reservoir. The small brick towers, now partly ruined and wrapped in greenery, feel peaceful and full of history. It’s less crowded than other temples, perfect for a slow visit. You can explore the carvings and enjoy the calm surroundings. Entry is included with the Angkor Pass. Come early or late in the day for the best light and fewer people.
