[Nantou Food Review] Hakka Royal Restaurant-My little brother’s favorite restaurant🍚🥢

Every time I come to Puli, Nantou, I will definitely visit my brother’s favorite restaurant - Hakka Royal Restaurant. My parents and elders also like to eat Taiwanese set dishes. As far as I can remember, they have come here to eat four or five times.

This time we ordered pork with dried plums, scallion chicken, garlic shrimp, mountain cabbage, and sweet and sour pork.
My favorite is the Braised Pork with Dried Plums. The pork is fat and lean, melts in your mouth, and you can taste the flavor of dried plums between your teeth, which means that the braised meat is stewed with great effort. If you eat it with rice, you will accidentally eat several more bowls 🤣. The scallion chicken is also good. The chicken dish brings out the sweetness of the meat itself, especially the frozen chicken jelly with the chicken skin, which is very chewy. Paired with orange sauce, it has another refreshing flavor👍.

Although the food is delicious, I still want to remind you of a small shortcoming of this restaurant, which is that there is no self-service drinking water on site. You may forget to get it after asking the waiter for it, or you may need to remind him many times. Friends who are concerned about this, please think about it yourself!
