The Glasshopper, Putrajaya – Sippin’ in a Glasshouse

Glasshopper Café is such a cute little spot – it’s basically all glass! So while you’re enjoying your food, you get this calming view of lush greenery all around. Seating is quite limited, but you’ve got options: indoors, outdoors, or even on the upper floor. We were lucky to arrive early in the morning, so there were plenty of seats to choose from. But if you come later, be prepared to queue a bit.
As for the food, the menu is pretty decent with plenty of choices, and prices are about what you’d expect at a café – you’re paying for the comfort and the view too. For breakfast, we went for the Big Breakfast (RM28), Cheesy Egg Croissant (RM23), and a Hot Black coffee (RM10). Honestly, everything was really good. They also have quite a variety of pastries and desserts if you’re into something sweet.
After breakfast, I decided to burn some calories by strolling around Taman Botani Putrajaya. I can’t remember how many loops I did, but I never get bored here – the scenery is beautiful with so many different types of plants. By the end, I clocked almost 7 km!
