Located on Luxor’s West Bank, the Temple of Hatshepsut (Deir el-Bahari) is one of the most stunning and unique temples in ancient Egypt. Built for Queen Hatshepsut, one of the few female pharaohs, the temple stands dramatically against the cliffs, showcasing grand terraces and well-preserved reliefs.

🌟 My Experience
• I went in the early morning, and even then the weather was warm ☀️—by afternoon it gets very hot, so bring plenty of water!
• Before the entrance, there’s a local bazaar where you can buy souvenirs—prices were up to 200% cheaper than in Luxor city 🛍️.
• The temple is accessible by bus with a large parking area, and you’ll need to take a shuttle buggy from the main gate to the temple entrance 🚎.
• The temple itself is impressively preserved—walking through the terraces felt like stepping back in time.
• I made the mistake of not carrying enough water and had to settle for a Coca-Cola (Egypt version)—a funny travel memory 🥤.
