The Jingshan Ancient Trail is located in Jingshan, Changle Township, Yuhang District, Hangzhou, over 50 kilometers northwest of the city . Jingshan Temple is located on Jingshan Peak, which is surrounded by seven towering peaks, including Pengbo and Lingxiao, forming a jewel in the palm of your hand. The famous Jingshan Temple is located here. A winding road has now been built, and there's a fine sanatorium on the mountain. However, the Jingshan Ancient Trail remains intact.

The Jingshan Ancient Trail is the path that Master Jianzhen traveled from Jingshan Temple in Yuhang to White Horse Temple in Lin'an on his journey to Japan to preach Buddhist precepts. The path is paved with bluestone and gurgling mountain springs. The trail is flanked by steep cliffs and towering ancient trees, the oldest of which is said to be over 500 years old. Lush, verdant bamboo forests grow in a straight, silent formation.
