After 25K steps it was worth it

Dujiangyan is a small city next to Chengdu (1h drive) and we stayed at some local hotel just for a night.
Qingcheng mt is nearby, 20min by taxi and entrance to a big park is free. You can use sightseeing bus to entrance, but it's just a 25min walk to ticket office. Save some money. To visit all temples and pagoda on top, price is 80rmb. And then climbing starts...stairs, stairs and more stairs. Highly recommend Cable car return ticket (60rmb). Saving you around 2km of climbing.
Plenty of small fast food and beverage stores, but pricey. Coke is 10rmb, some pies go to 25rmb. So better get some snacks and water before. On the top is amazing view on mountains, city and lake. Summer season isn't best option cuz of noisy cicadas every step of the way. Be prepared for pain in legs for a few days if you don't have stamina as we do.
