The Labagoumen Primary and Secondary Forest Ecological Scenic Area is located in Sunzhazi Village, Labagoumen Manchu Township, at the northernmost tip of Huairou District. There are seas of clouds rarely seen in Beijing, Phoenix Terrace, home to numerous historical relics, summer glaciers unique to Beijing, and a thousand-acre birch forest, a sight only seen in Siberia. The woods are interspersed with various shrubs and deep, dense grass mats, while thick moss grows on the rocks. Roe deer, pheasants, and hares can also be seen.
