Took the kids to Qingdao and got scammed? After this real experience, I'm totally recommending it!

Friends! I just got back from Qingdao and can't wait to share with you! Although I was worried after being misled by my friends' posts, this family trip was truly amazing! 👶🏻💖
⚠ First, the "downsides":
The cherry blossom season was so crowded that the subway had to limit passenger flow (but the special cherry blossom train was breathtakingly beautiful!).
Climbing Laoshan Mountain was tiring (but seeing the azaleas all over the mountain on the way down was instantly healing!).
The snacks at the scenic spots were pricey (bringing your own snacks is the wise choice!).
But compared to the beautiful scenery, these are nothing! 🔥
✨【Must-visit itinerary with kids】✨
Day 1⃣ Travel through a fairy tale on the subway's cherry blossom train
Take Line 11 from DaLao Station to Bei Jiu Shui, the train windows are like moving picture frames! The kids were glued to the window counting cherry blossom trees 🌳, and when we arrived, we went straight to Cherry Valley to pick cherries and experience "cherry blossom freedom"! (Secret tip: Enjoying the cherry blossoms for free from the subway is much better than buying tickets!)
Day 2⃣ A day trip through ancient times
In the morning, we took Hanfu photos at Baihua Park, and the kids, dressed in rented Hanfu, chased butterflies 🦋. In the afternoon, we found handmade hairpins at the Shi Mei An Plum Blossom Market, and in the evening, we watched the jade orchid night lights at Taiqing Palace. A Taoist priest even gave us a safety amulet! 🎎
Day 3⃣ Mountain and sea adventure mode
Wear non-slip shoes for the Ju Feng Azalea Slope! The kids walked the whole way themselves and were so excited to see the azaleas covering the mountain that they shouted, "It's like a rainbow has fallen down"! 🌈 We went straight down to Yangkou Beach and collected shells until sunset 🌅.
🌟【Mom's secret tips】🌟
✅ Wear light-colored matching outfits + straw bags, and you'll be the center of attention wherever you go.
✅ Rush to Zhongshan Park's Cherry Blossom Avenue at 8 am to capture the perfect shot.
✅ The Laoshan scenic bus is super convenient, and the drivers tell jokes.
✅ Must-try: Piduziyuan tofu pudding, Yingkou Road Seafood Market (transparent processing fees).
⚠ Avoid these pitfalls:
❌ Don't buy overpriced flower garlands at the scenic spot entrance; you can get 3 for 10 yuan at the night market.
❌ The jade orchid blooming period at Taiqing Palace is long, so no need to rush.
❌ You can bargain at the Cherry Valley farmhouse restaurants in Laoshan, don't be ripped off.
Looking at the 3000+ photos on my phone now, I can't help but smile! Qingdao is truly an underrated treasure for families. The romance of the mountains, sea, and city is so captivating that even the kids learned to say, "Facing the sea, with spring blossoms warm" ~🌊🌸
