Kerry Hill is a well-known and highly respected figure in the hotel industry, having created many leading hotels around the world. The Amanyangyun Shanghai and Aman Tokyo hotels were both designed by this master, and the Lalu Qingdao is another one of his miracles. The design fee of 60 million allowed the Lalu Qingdao to be unveiled to the world.
Qingdao is a port city, and the scene of freight containers provided important inspiration for the hotel's design, so the exterior of the hotel looks like a neat and square container.
The hotel incorporates a lot of Confucian Zen into the scene. The waterscape in front of the gate, the ancient pines in the central hall, and the control of the spatial atmosphere lighting all convey a concept: quiet luxury.
The spacious rooms have 180-degree sea views, and each room is 100 square meters, which is spacious and grand. The relatively minimalist soft decoration style has a perfect 180-degree sea view, and you can also watch the sunrise on the terrace in the morning.
The indoor independent bathtub, automatic curtains, double washstands, and translucent bathroom allow you to enjoy the outside view while showering. The experience of staying here is indeed extraordinary.
The Lalu is surrounded by the sea on three sides and has an exclusive beach. Stepping on the sand, strolling and watching the sea, or ordering a drink on the terrace of the U Restaurant and emptying yourself is another interpretation of high-end. You can see a few people quietly sea fishing, and you can see the Qingdao city in the distance. Away from the hustle and bustle, it is an arrogant darling on the skyline.
There is a Japanese restaurant hidden in the hotel. I ordered the sukiyaki on the popular list. The meat is fresh and tender, with a rich and silky texture, plus a very rich soup. The nourished beef is wrapped in a raw egg and put into the tongue in one bite, which is really a wonderful thing in the world. I suddenly thought of a sentence, "What you have at this moment is the best I can give you."
