Spending the holidays in Qingdao, it would be really sad to miss this hotel!

Qingdao Diaoyutai Hotel
The entrance features a large mansion-style Chinese courtyard. Before entering the revolving door, there is a circular landscape water platform in the center of the courtyard. Displayed in the middle of the water platform is a poplar tree named "Millennium," created by the renowned artist Mr. Ren Tianjin. The design blends Western modern minimalism with the traditional Chinese beauty of simplicity and authenticity.
After entering through the revolving door, the red art sculpture named "Qi Yun" ("Rising Clouds") stands out. "Qi Yun, half-peaked soaring to the sky, facing the wind at the top of Diaoyutai," was created by the famous Shandong sculptor Sui Jianguo for the hotel. Looking closely at the walls surrounding the sculpture, unique hand-painted artworks encircle and enhance the atmosphere.
The elevator goes directly to the 51st-floor sky lobby. As the "car" doors open, a floor-to-ceiling antique shelf displays a rich variety of painted ceramic vessels and ornaments. The three-story-high sky lobby is strikingly decorated with red elements.
Opening the red door to the guest rooms, there are two color themes: ocean blue and sunset gold. Abstract lotus patterns faintly appear on the burgundy gradient carpet. The furniture and items are designed by Italian-American Alexander Muji, who pays tribute to Chinese aesthetics by refining and elevating traditional details, achieving a very fitting effect, even more evocative than the Song Dynasty style created by Master Wang Shu for a certain hotel. It is understood that the designer furniture at Qingdao Diaoyutai is produced by Decca Furniture Company for the front desk area, while the guest rooms feature products from Golden Phoenix Furniture Group.
The 50th-floor Royal Garden Chinese Restaurant is inspired by the Penglai fairyland. The most eye-catching feature is the golden winter jasmine flower sea hanging from the ceiling, with hand-blown petals scattered freely above the restaurant, swaying passionately. The restaurant chairs are mainly in autumn red and ivory white, lively yet elegant. All images and texts I posted on Trip.com are sourced from the internet; please remove if infringing.
