Beidahu Ski Resort boasts unique natural advantages. Its slopes are gentle, with few steep cliffs. Its main peak reaches 1,408.8 meters, and nine peaks exceed 1,200 meters. It fully meets the requirements for alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, ski jumping, freestyle skiing, biathlon, bobsleigh, and other snow sports, reaching international competition standards.
It is only 53 kilometers away from Jilin City, and there are various transportation options such as train, plane, and self-driving, and there is also a ski resort bus pick-up service.
The northern temperate continental dry and cold monsoon climate means the best time to travel is from the end of December to the end of February.

The snow season runs from late October to late April. As the entire area is surrounded by mountains on three sides, the winter wind is small and the climate is more suitable, it can reach the level of an international snow competition venue.
