1. Daehakro Red Wall, a Hot Spot on Social Media
Daehakro's red wall became famous after being photographed by a wanghong (internet celebrity). The wall stretches long, but the corner with the Daehakro sign is the photo spot. I even saw couples taking wedding photos.
2. Hayao Miyazaki Mural Street
A mural street lined with cute souvenir shops. There are murals featuring Totoro, Ponyo, Tom and Jerry, Hello Kitty, and other popular characters like Crayon Shin-chan and Rabubu. People line up to take pictures in front of the murals. There's a cafe called One Coffee with a "Made in Qingdao" sign, which is also a popular photo spot.
3. Signal Mountain Observatory
It's a bit challenging due to the many stairs, but you can enjoy the scenery of the red roof and the blue sea.
4. Badaguan Scenic Area, No. 2 Bathing Beach
This is Qingdao's representative historical and recreational area, but I felt like I was strolling through a local park, so I ended up going to No. 2 Bathing Beach. Here we are.
4. Little Fish Mountain Park Observatory
The mountain isn't very high, and I was a little disappointed with the Badaguan Scenic Area, but the view from the observatory—the sea, the German-style buildings, and the sunset—was breathtaking.
5. May Fourth Square (Light Show)
The evening light show at Qingdao's landmark, May Fourth Square, is truly breathtaking.
⭐️Except for May Fourth Square, all the other tourist attractions were close by, so I walked there.
