Location
Jiuhuashan is located in the southwestern part of Qingyang County, Chizhou City, Anhui Province, with geographical coordinates of 117°44′-117°54′E and 30°25′-30°36′N.
Transportation
- External Transportation: Fly to Chizhou Jiuhuashan Airport, which operates flights from Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, Guangzhou, Xiamen, and other cities. Take a train or high-speed rail to Chizhou, where free shuttle buses to Jiuhuashan are available at the high-speed rail station exit. Alternatively, travel to train stations or high-speed rail stations in Hefei, Nanjing, or Huangshan and take a bus from there.
- Internal Transportation: The scenic area offers shuttle buses for convenient access to various attractions. Additionally, there are cable cars available at Baisui Palace, Tiantai, and Huatai.

- Ticket Prices: Regular ticket: CNY160/person, Discounted ticket: CNY80/person.
- Concessions: Free admission for children aged 6 and under or under 1.2m in height, seniors aged 65 and above, active military personnel, disabled veterans, retired military officers, people with disabilities, Buddhist monks and nuns, students on collective patriotic education visits, National Model Workers, National Ethics Role Models, and journalists with valid press cards. Additional Tips
- Clothing: Wear comfortable sports shoes and bring rain gear.
- Hiking Support: Bring a walking stick or use suitable tree branches found along the trail.
- Temple Etiquette: Enter temples through side doors and avoid stepping on thresholds. When worshipping, press palms together, kneel on the right cushion, and bow your head to the cushion. Insert incense sticks upright; devotees typically offer three sticks.
- Other Taboos: Avoid asking monks sensitive questions; refrain from loud noise, pointing, mocking, wandering freely, or touching temple items. Particularly forbidden to touch or carve religious statues.
