My first-ever rafting experience was at Bijia Mountain! Who knew beginners could have this much fun!!
My first rafting trip instantly made me a fan of Bijia Mountain!! I was super nervous about capsizing or swallowing water, but the entire experience was thrilling and felt incredibly safe!
✔️ Professional safety personnel were there the whole way, keeping an eye on every rapid—no need to worry about safety at all!
✔️ The route design is super thoughtful! One exciting bend after another, with the kayak bouncing through the waves—so stress-relieving🌊! In calmer sections, you can have water fights with friends, going wild with water guns and buckets!
✔️ The facilities are top-notch! Clean changing rooms and showers, plus ginger tea to warm you up afterward. After rafting, you can enjoy authentic local food at nearby farmhouses~
🎉 After playing, I couldn't help but exclaim, "I want to do it a billion more times!!" Friends who want to try rafting but are afraid of danger—just go for Bijia Mountain with your eyes closed!! Next time, I'll challenge the advanced level—now I’m someone with rafting experience!
🎉 That day also happened to be the annual Wild Fun Water Splashing Festival!! The atmosphere was electric! Staff joined the chaos with huge water buckets, mixing music, splashes, and laughter—it was even more hype than a music festival!! After tiring out, free ginger tea warmed us up, and the clean, convenient changing rooms and showers were a detail-lover’s dream!!
Venturing into the mountain wilderness! A full account of Bijia Mountain Grand Waterfall × Qianguxi Adventure!
Bijia Mountain Grand Waterfall: The moment you arrive, the 208-meter nine-tiered waterfall crashes into view—utterly breathtaking. Getting closer, the cool mist feels like stepping into an air-conditioned room, and it’s a super photogenic spot!
Qianguxi Adventure: Wandering through the greenery, the 3.5-kilometer Qianguxi adventure route is one of the world’s most thrilling. Walking on cliffside suspension bridges gets your heart racing, and there are unique challenges like the Heart-Stopping Bridge and Lianxin Bridge. While testing your balance and courage, you’ll also get up close with streams, deep pools, and ancient trees. The whole route is shaded by lush foliage, making it refreshing even in summer.
📌 Practical guide:
• Gear: Non-slip sports shoes, quick-dry clothes, waterproof phone case, and spare clothes in case you get splashed.
• Timing: The scenic area is open from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Allow about 5 hours for a relaxed visit—off-peak hours are best.
Transport tip: Self-driving is recommended. Navigate to "Bijia Mountain Tourist Area," about 1.5–2 hours from the Pearl River Delta.
