📍 Taohuahu Viewing Platform
I was amazed at first sight! The lake water is as blue as a palette, the distant mountains are like ink wash paintings, and on clear days you can even see the two-color lake phenomenon. Be sure to check in at this best photo spot (navigate to "Taohuahu Scenic Area Viewing Platform")

📍 Lakeside Cycling Path
There is a dedicated bike path by the lake where you can rent a bike and ride slowly🚴‍♀️. The most beautiful scenery is on the stretch to "Taohuahu Homestay Village," where the roadside Gesang flower sea is in full bloom in June～

📍 Boat Ride and Afternoon Tea
Many farmhouses by the lake offer boat rides (30-50 RMB per person). I recommend boarding at sunset and enjoying farmhouse dishes on the boat—so romantic! The "Lake Light Mountain Scenery Farmhouse" we booked also offers free parking.

💡 Useful Tips:
1. Best photo times are 8-10 AM and 4-6 PM; midday is too sunny and backlit
2. Remember to bring a sun hat/picnic mat; there are several natural lawns by the lake perfect for picnics
3. Many homestays have infinity pools (recommend "Taohua No.1"), so don’t forget your swimsuit!

🥘 Food Recommendations:
▫️ Zuihu Lou Farmhouse: Must-try steamed lake fish, freshly caught and super tender
▫️ Shanwai Shan Tea Restaurant: Signature bamboo tube rice is very special, about 40 RMB per person for a full meal
▫️ For those driving back, you can bring some local dried tofu skin or black tea

The most surprising weekend getaway I found this year—few people, beautiful scenery, no crowds. I’ve already planned to come back next month for a second visit! It’s better to avoid holidays for a better experience～
