Qingyuan｜May Day Wharf——Experience a different Beijiang River cruise🚢

The main purpose of our trip to Qingyuan was to experience a Beijiang River cruise. 🚢

It was a very unique and memorable experience.

Since we were traveling with a large family, we chose a chartered boat service, departing from Wuyi Wharf. The price was over 2,000 RMB. You can schedule a time and pier to wait for the boat in advance via WeChat. (Once you arrive at the ticket office, a steward will direct you to the pier.)

The chartered boat service is divided into two time slots: 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM (this can be arranged with the boat operator).

You can request the boat operator to stop at scenic spots along the Beijiang River (you can arrange your own stop times).

The most famous attractions along the way include the mysterious Feilai Temple, Baimiao Fishing Village, Zizhulin, and Feixia Mountain.

The temples are solemn and awe-inspiring, so I didn't take any photos. But Feilai Temple is truly magnificent and a must-see.

🚢The upper deck of the boat is a perfect place for rest, entertainment, tea and conversation, enjoying the scenery, and enjoying the Beijiang River breeze. (Of course, entertainment also includes KTV, haha.)

The lower deck is the restaurant, where you can choose from a menu with varying prices. (My favorites are the soup and the roast goose; they're delicious 😋.)

Sitting quietly on the boat with my family, enjoying delicious food and admiring the beautiful scenery along the Beijiang River, is an unforgettable experience. Especially being able to spend time with my beloved family. It's a truly blissful experience.

If you're traveling with a small group, in addition to charter boats, different piers offer different boats for Beijiang River cruises. Both day and night tours are available. Boat fares vary depending on the duration of the trip, so there are many options available, allowing you to plan your trip based on your schedule.

May Day Wharf and Bei'an Wharf are both only a dozen minutes by taxi from Qingyuan High-Speed Railway Station, making it very convenient. (This trip can be arranged on the first day of your high-speed rail arrival or departure.)
