In December, I set out from Beijing to Qinhuangdao to see the frozen sea.

I saw the news about snow in Weihai, so I thought of Qinhuangdao in winter.
Perhaps in most people’s impressions, the first thing that comes to mind when mentioning Qinhuangdao is Anaya!
However, in my memory, Qinhuangdao in winter has a special flavor.
The wind was cold and the sea seemed to rush towards the shore with fearless courage; even in the severe cold, the seagulls were still dancing, and their figures added a touch of agility to this cold world.
Countless travelers like me have come from thousands of miles away just to see the magnificent sight of the frozen sea.
The sea in winter seems to contain more power, and every turbulent wave makes people more excited!
Although I didn’t see the sunrise or sunset during this trip due to bad weather, I did see the sea in the snow:
Snow flakes fluttered and the sea breeze whistled, but I felt that everything was quiet, with only the sound of the waves and my heartbeat intertwined together.

Day 2 Jinmeng Bay (failed to watch the sunrise) - Cote d'Azur - Cat's Sky City - Return to Beijing
Although there is no subway, it is very convenient to take a taxi, which takes about 20-30 minutes to get there and is not expensive.
(As for viewing the sea, many places can actually provide similar beautiful views, so choosing a quiet corner that you really like and quietly enjoying the tranquility of the sea is far more meaningful than rushing to multiple check-in spots)

There is another shop whose name I forgot. I just found it randomly on the street opposite Wanda. But the food is delicious and the lady boss will help you peel the shrimps.
