Shanhaiguan Scenic Area - The First Pass Under Heaven!

🇨🇳 Add this to your Qinhuangdao itinerary - the First Pass Under Heaven in the Shanhaiguan Scenic Area! Within this contained area are old buildings that give you an immersive experience of being in ancient China. Inside, there are many shops and restaurants. There’s much to see, with optional sightseeing busses. Be sure to check out the Bell and Drum Tower within the scenic area.

👀 Head up onto the walls that surround the area for beautiful panoramic views, as well as views out to the mountains on the horizon. The walls form a square that you can walk all around as much as you would like.
