Qionghai Is Worth Visiting Again and Again

Qionghai is more than just the home of Boao; it's a beautiful place in its own right. Although Qionghai is close to Wenchang, making it easy for me to visit, after exploring so many places in Hainan, I still find Qionghai's scenery stunning. It has everything from seaside views and mountain forests to charming villages, enriching opportunities for patriotic education, and delicious cuisine.

I've been to Qionghai many times. My first visit was in 2006 during my initial Hainan trip (a classic Hainan group tour), and since 2023, Qionghai has become a must-visit destination on every Hainan trip. With the opening of the Hainan Island Tourist Highway in 2024, Qionghai now boasts even more coastal attractions. Visiting Qionghai is no longer just about Boao; there are more scenic spots and unique experiences to enjoy.

Qionghai's attractions can be divided into coastal and inland. The coastal attractions are mainly concentrated in Tanmen Town and Boao Town, while the inland attractions are clustered around Jiaji Town (urban area).

Tanmen Town: Milky Sea, China (Hainan) South China Sea Museum, and the Anywhere Door in Paigang Village
Boao Town: Red Stone Beach, Sea Story Bar Street, Boao Forum for Asia Permanent Site, Yuedai Beach, and Shamei Village
Jiaji Town (urban area): World Tropical Fruit Window, Yinhai Miscellaneous Grain Street, Wanquan River, Red Detachment of Women Memorial Park, Beireng Village, and Baishi Ridge
