I've lost count of how many times I've visited Hainan,
and each time brings new surprises.
Among Hainan's many popular destinations,
Boao is relatively less known.
Although the Boao Forum has a far-reaching impact,
this place doesn't see many tourists.
I highly recommend it to everyone; if you have time, come and see!

Boao is a small town in Qionghai City.
The city offers a variety of delicious food at relatively affordable prices.
It's only a half-hour drive to the Boao coast,
and you can enjoy delicious and inexpensive seafood at the Tanmen fishing port.
There are also many scenic and less-crowded hidden gems.

◼️ Boao Red Stone Beach
Not far from the mouth of the Wanquan River in Boao town, the shore is covered with brown reefs, and a long tidal observation point extends into the sea. This is Boao's Red Stone Beach, a very pristine area. When the tide recedes, it reveals bright red reefs, emerald green moss, and a blue sea, complemented by cotton-like clouds. This beauty rivals that of Coconut Dream Corridor! The waves gently wash the beach—it's incredibly healing!

◼️ The Story of the Sea
A charming seaside street near the coastline, it's also a representative of the bar street. The decoration style here is mainly based on old fishing boats, including tables and chairs made from them, which is quite interesting. Find a table facing the sea, sit quietly, and enjoy the sea breeze and the sound of the waves. It's extremely relaxing.

🚗 Transportation
Boao has its own airport, but with fewer flights. If there's a direct flight from your city, it's a good option. Sometimes, flying here is cheaper than flying to Haikou or Sanya. Renting a car is recommended once you arrive!

🏠 Accommodation Recommendations
There are more than a dozen five-star hotels, all of which are excellent. Boao Town has a relatively high level of refinement, and the people in Qionghai are known for their gentle nature. There are also many homestays suitable for family trips.

◼️ The Grains Shop is the most famous in Qionghai, with a wide selection and affordable prices.
◼️ Seafood at Tanmen Fishing Port (It's best to arrive early and head straight to the old Tanmen ferry terminal, as fishermen usually return to port in the early morning, so the seafood is freshest then.)
