Take a train ride along the Montenvers-Mer de Glace glacier

Mer de Glace is a glacier located in the Mont Blanc mountain range and is one of the largest glaciers in France. It is about 7 kilometers long and is a beautiful tourist attraction.
How to get there: Take the Montenvers train from Gare de chamonix Mont Blanc station using the same ticket as the cable car to Mont Blanc (Mont Blanc MultiPass ticket). It is a mountain train that gradually climbs to Le Montenvers station at an altitude of 1913 meters. You will be able to see Chamonix from above. When you reach the train station above, you can take the cable car and walk up about 550 steps to see the beauty of the Mer de Glace ice cave up close.
