Palatine Hill (Via di San Gregorio, Roma) is where the history and legends of Rome began. According to the myth of Romulus and Remus, this is the very spot where Rome was born.
Located right next to the Colosseum and the Roman Forum, it’s a perfect place to explore together. The path up the hill is lined with lush trees and ancient remnants, creating a truly peaceful atmosphere 🌿. As the city noise fades away and only the sound of the wind and birds remains, it feels like traveling back in time to ancient Rome.
The highlight of Palatine Hill is undoubtedly its view. The breathtaking scenery of the Roman Forum and the Colosseum from the top of the hill is simply overwhelming. Despite the number of visitors, the hill maintains a tranquil ambiance, making it a great spot to clear your mind amidst the bustling city 🍃. Strolling through the remnants of palaces and gardens scattered around, you can feel both the grandeur of the Roman Empire and the passage of time. It’s an incredible place to experience the history of Rome firsthand!
