I visited Rome in midsummer in August. The sun was intense, and it was oven-like hot, but the World Heritage Site, the Colosseum, was still bustling with tourists. ☀️
It's an impressive sight from the outside! As I got closer, I was impressed by its beauty and strength, which made it hard to believe it was built 2,000 years ago. ✨

Once inside, it was surprisingly cool and comfortable. There was plenty of shade, making the heat outside seem like a lie.
Apparently, up to 50,000 spectators would watch gladiator fights here back in the day. The remains of animal cages and traps remain in the basement, making you feel like you've traveled back in time. 🕰️

We recommend visiting at different times of the day. 🌇
The view against the blue sky during the day is beautiful, but at dusk, the exterior walls turn orange, creating a romantic atmosphere. 💛
And at night, the Colosseum is lit up, shining golden. 🌕
The view in the moonlight is breathtakingly magical. ✨
