I flew all the way to Weihai just for these blue-toned photos of the BLUEWAYS ship, and it was absolutely breathtaking

📍𝑾𝒆𝒊𝒉𝒂𝒊 · BLUEWAYS 🚢
I'd imagined its appearance many times, but seeing it up close was still awe-inspiring—that sense of both loneliness and romantic destiny was truly extraordinary!
Though it no longer sails, it has become a distant dream for countless travelers.

Whether it's the chilly, detached vibe on overcast days, the bright yet melancholic atmosphere under clear skies, or the gentle golden outline during sunset... the BLUEWAYS ship never fails to surprise. Especially during the blue hour at dusk, every angle offers a cinematic shot full of storytelling.

📝 Some photography tips:
👗 Wear white, black, or other solid colors—a dress is ideal.
📷 There are many photographers on-site, but booking one in advance ensures better quality.
💙 If you hire a photographer, no need to bring props like flowers or chairs.
💙 Personally, I find the light after 5 PM the most flattering—blue hour starts around 6 PM.
🌊 Arrive early to enjoy water activities, then start shooting when the evening light is perfect.
🌊 Bring an extra outfit—your dress will get soaked if you take photos in the water.

📷 Mood-setting poses:
1️⃣ Face the sea with arms wide open—your silhouette against the massive ship creates a storytelling shot.
2️⃣ Close your eyes, smile, and tilt your head up—your profile blending with the sea and sky exudes quiet elegance.
3️⃣ Walk toward the camera for a natural, candid moment.
4️⃣ Walk into the sea—your back against the ship evokes romantic solitude.
5️⃣ Sit on a chair gazing at the ship—capture a moment of poetic melancholy.

Promise me you’ll visit the BLUEWAYS ship at least once—it’s worth it.
