Hello, Blueways

The Blueways (BLUEWAYS) is an empty Panama-registered bulk carrier originally scheduled for renovation and upgrades at Rongcheng Longyan Port in Shandong in September 2022. However, due to the combined effects of Typhoon Nanmadou's outer circulation and cold air, it ran aground and took on water near Chengshan Town, Rongcheng City, Weihai, on the morning of September 19. After the incident, all 25 crew members were rescued, and the fuel was removed. However, due to the high cost of towing, the owner did not move the ship, leaving the Blueways stranded in place, becoming our "lonely giant ship."

I’ve thought about it for a long time—just as there are a hundred Hamlets in a hundred people's hearts, perhaps everyone sees the Blueways differently. Life’s storms don’t come with weather forecasts 🌊, and the unexpected seems almost normal. Maybe what we can do is avoid accidents scientifically—by following traffic rules, establishing healthy lifestyles, and maintaining an optimistic and open-minded attitude... Birth, aging, illness, and death may seem accidental, but they might just be the natural order of things. So, live well in the present—vibrantly, fully, and without regrets. That’s enough [smirk][beer]

By the way, the best time to visit the Blueways is at sunset 🌇. The golden sunlight shining on the "lonely cruise ship" is beautiful, but remember to leave before it gets too dark. Late at night, it’s hard to get a taxi, especially if you’re staying in downtown Weihai.
