• Take the JR line (such as Ueno-Tokyo Line, Shonan-Shinjuku Line, etc.) to Omiya Station, the journey takes about 30 minutes.
• From Omiya Station, take the Saitama New Urban Transportation "New Shuttle" and get off at "Railway Museum Station". It is about a 1-minute walk to the destination.

The Omiya Railway Museum is a place that makes people linger. Whether it is railway fans or families with children, they can find fun here. The museum displays various types of trains from steam locomotives to modern Shinkansen, making people feel as if they have traveled through the development history of Japanese railways. We especially recommend the "Railway Diorama" in the museum. This model, which is about 1,200 meters long, 23 meters wide, and 10 meters deep, shows the scenes of trains running in various places, and presents the changes between day and night through sound and light effects, which is very healing.   

In addition, there are many interactive experience facilities in the museum, such as Shinkansen driving simulators and mini running trains, allowing people to experience the fun of driving a train firsthand. It should be noted that some experience facilities require advance reservations or lottery, so it is recommended to check relevant information in advance.  

Overall, the Omiya Railway Museum is a place that combines education and entertainment. Whether it is an adult who is interested in railways or a child who loves trains, they can spend a fulfilling day here.
