The Abe Monjuin Temple

#japanitinerary Abe Monjuin Temple. One of Japan's three Monjus located in Nara Sakurai. The principal image is Manjusri Bodhisattva, the largest in Japan. It was built in 645 by Abe
Kuradashimaro, who became Minister of the Left during the Taika Reforms. It is the birthplace of the Abe clan and has ties to Abe Nakamaro and Onmyoji Abe Seimei. I feel like Abe Seimeido gives me power. A power spot that prays for academic success and employment. Limited to 108 people, the New Year's Eve bell was lit, so I took on the challenge.
7 minutes by bus or 20 minutes walk from Kintetsu Sakurai Station. There are few buses, so be careful. There is a paid parking lot and you can go there by car.
