Salzburg Fortress is a stunning medieval castle overlooking the city of Salzburg, Austria that was built in the year of 1077 and also one of Europe’s largest and best-preserved fortresses where you will get to enjoy the panoramic views of the old town and the Alps.

🚗How to get there:
- One of the best option would be by climbing up by foot. It is free of charge and you can just take your time to enjoy the Salzburg view + take the pictures around. However, if you would like to reach to the top of the fortress, you are required to pay for the entrance fee.

- Take the funicular up and down at EUR 18.00 including the prince’s chamber and magic theatre.

Overall experience:
- Definitely the top 1 tourist spot in Salzburg especially for those who like enjoying the city view!!
