"Blue City" Shah-i-Zinda Mausoleums [Samarkand]

I recommend the Shah-i-Zinda Mausoleums in Samarkand, Uzbekistan, known as the "Blue City."

Blue tiles as far as the eye can see💙
Each one has a different pattern and design, so you'll never get bored no matter how much you look at them!

We went early in the morning (opening time at 8am).

The number of tour groups and other visitors increases, so if you want to take photos without people, it's definitely recommended to go early in the morning🫡

It is said that visiting here twice to pray is the same as going to Mecca once.

So, it might be a good idea to visit twice at different times!

The entrance fee is 40,000 UZS (about 480 yen at the current rate/November 2024)
