Shah-I-Zinda Samarkand, Uzbekistan 🇺🇿

Hi, welcome back to my trip post! After arriving in Samarkand, we booked a Yandex ride to our hotel, Aisha Registan (RM150 per night). The hotel is located opposite the Registan building, and it's only a 5-minute walk to Registan. After checking in, we went to Shah-i-Zinda, our first attraction to visit.

Shah-i-Zinda is a world-famous example of a historically significant site that has been continuously developed over the centuries. Over 1,000 years ago, it began with a single religious monument, Shah-i-Zinda. This stunning necropolis, one of the most renowned sites in Samarkand, is known for its intricate tile work and rich history, dating back to the 14th century.

The entrance fee was RM31.50, and you can pay using a credit card or cash at the counter. There is no time limit to explore the place, so you can walk around and take pictures of the building at your own pace 🤗

In Samarkand, we used Yandex to get around, and the prices were much cheaper compared to Yandex in Almaty City😁

See you in next post, stay tuned 🤗
