A under the radar museum in Bangkok

#summervacay Okay, so the Erawan Museumis one of those places that makes you go, “Wait, what am I looking at?”, in the best way possible. First off, there’s a massive three-headed elephant statue on top of the building. Like… massive. You can’t miss it. But what’s inside is just as wild.
You walk through this dreamy, pastel wonderland of stained glass, spiraling staircases, and intricate carvings that feel straight out of a fantasy novel. It’s part museum, part spiritual space, part art explosion. The whole thing is themed around Thai cosmology, so every level represents a different realm, super trippy but very cool.
It’s peaceful, a little surreal, and crazy photogenic. Even if you’re not into museums, this one will surprise you. Plus, there’s a lush garden outside that’s perfect for a slow stroll post-elephant-head adventure.
It’s not super big, but it’s packed with “whoa” moments. Definitely a hidden gem if you're into beautiful, slightly bizarre places. Totally recommend bringing your camera and some curiosity.
