Following an assessment organized by the Hubei Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, the Mulan Water Town Scenic Area in Huangpi District, Wuhan, has been designated a National 4A-level tourist attraction, meeting the standards for such an area.
The entire scenic area covers approximately 2,600 mu (approximately 1,600 acres) and comprises the Hedong Ecological Sightseeing Area and the Hexi Military Experience and Legal Education Base. The Hedong Ecological Sightseeing Area, covering over 300 mu (approximately 1,600 acres), focuses on natural ecological sightseeing, supplemented by special recreational attractions. The ecological area features a folk customs street, a lake island, a leisure corridor, an ancient town performing arts center, a double dragon water play area, and a bamboo garden. Other attractions include a cable challenge bridge, a zip line, a water Ferris wheel, a water pleasure boat, and water bikes.
Hedong Ecological Tourism Area: This area, covering over 300 mu (approximately 1,000 acres), focuses on natural ecological sightseeing, supplemented by unique recreational attractions. Visitors can stroll along the Folk Customs Street, admire the beauty of the lake's island, relax on the leisure promenade, and experience thrilling rides like the zipline and water Ferris wheel.
Hexi Military Experience Zone: This exciting area offers a variety of military experiences. Visitors can don camouflage uniforms, participate in real-life CS combat, experience amphibious maneuvers, jungle crossings, and other military activities.
